Adding Gadgets to Google Blogger > Easy ... While Procrastinating about Lesson

Adding gadgets and rearranging the layout on my blog site was fun, such as placing a picture of Dave on my blog, and allowing folks to follow my blogs by submitting their emails, etc.  And it was way easy!  I wish all tools and sites were as user-friendly as the Google features.

My peer classmates and Dr. Dennen may realize what I am doing - procrastinating - and hopefully making progress by accomplishing the easier tasks first.  I am still wondering which Web 2.0 tool to use for my lesson that is due this Sunday!  I figured I should be as efficient as possible as I think through the process and tool that I want to use to create my lesson.

I haven't even figured out what I want the lesson to be about yet! Sigh...  My goal is to make it something the class will find informative and will be helpful toward their future projects, etc.  The lesson is due Sunday, and is likely to be a very short one.  Did I mention it is due Sunday!

  1. Barbara, please stop reminding me about our assignment. I know all about procrastination... I finally decided on a topic earlier today. However I doubt the class would find my assignment helpful towards their future projects, but I am just trying to make the assignment more enjoyable by picking a topic I like.

    Good luck :)

  3. Barbara. . . I found your blog post by reading Darrecia's participation journal entry (procrastinators unite, tomorrow!)...that is so funny! So, I had to come find your blog post and let you know that I'm there with you! I've even contemplated cleaning my rugs this weekend in place of doing school work!

I admire you for taking two courses during one summer session. . . hang on. . .our ride downhill is beginning now. . .it maybe a bit bumpy but we'll make sure you stay with us!

    Off to finishing my lesson!
    Take Care,
    Julie

    1. Julie, that is too cool that you found my blog via Darrecia's journal entry. I think it's fun to see things posted in our blogs on Facebook, etc. It makes the world smaller for sure!

btw, I am sorry to be so late in responding. Sometimes taking the small breaks - such as cleaning rugs - allows you the time to think of what you need to do. It helps to re-energize me! Once I cleared my mind of the cobwebs last week, I truly enjoyed building the lesson for Produsage #1. However, I worried all the week long about what I was going to do, and after spending time pondering and thinking and worrying, it came to me!

Also, viewing Dr. Dennen's VoiceThread helped tremendously.

Good luck my friend, only two (2) - did I say - 2 more weeks to go!

      All the best to you,

      Barbara :)
